The Position

Our Firm in downtown London is seeking an initiative-taking Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful applicant will play an instrumental role in the accounting assistance needs of our clients; both on site and off; the responsibilities of which range from financial statement preparation and assurance, training and trouble shooting, the completion of T1, T3, T4/T5 returns, and assistance with and/or completion of personal and corporate tax planning.

Responsibilities

Financial statement preparation and assurance
Completion of personal, trust and corporate tax returns
Assistance with and/or completion of personal and corporate tax planning

Qualifications & Education

 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or related field, CPA pursuit an asset
2 years (minimum) of accounting experience; CPA firm experience preferred
Proficiency with Sage and QuickBooks
Working knowledge of CaseWare, Taxprep, Microsoft 365 Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service and the ability to maintain strong client relations
Dedicated, detail-oriented work ethic, with a positive attitude
Strong computer skills
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
